Ŀ
 INSTALLING MULTIPLE ADAPTERS

The following steps describe the method of installing two network
 adapters:

Note: The steps described below apply to both RLPNPNW3.LAN and RLPNPA.LAN

    1. Make sure that the hardware settings of the two RL2000A
       network adapters do not conflict.

    Hint:
Install all network adapters in the PC.
Run the RLASET configuration program. It will resolve all
hardware conflicts on all RL2000A PnP cards in the PC.
	  Save the configuration.

    2. Run SERVER.EXE.

    3. At the NetWare prompt, type:

	   : LOAD RLPNPA

If the I/O port of the two adapters are 280h and 300h, with
IRQ number A and 3 set respectively, then your screen displays
the following messages when you load the server driver.

	  Loading module RLPNPA.LAN
          Supported I/O port values are : 280, 300
                I/O port : 280 <Enter>
Supported interrupt number values are : A, 5
                Interrupt number : A <Enter>

The I/O ports and IRQs of the adapters are AUTOMATICALLY
       detected by the server driver.

    4. To load the server driver again, type:

	     : LOAD RLPNPA

The screen displays the following messages:

Do you want to add another frame type for a previously
	  loaded board? <n>

	  Loading module RLPNPA.LAN
          Supported I/O port values are : 300
                I/O port : 300 <Enter>
Supported interrupt number values are : 5
                Interrupt number : 5 <Enter>

Previously loaded module was used re-entrantly.

    5. Bind IPX to RLPNPA for both the network adapters.

                     ------------------------------------

Ŀ
 COMMAND LINE OPTIONS

Apart from the standard command line options of PORT, INT, FRAME,
etc, the server driver also provides an additional command line
 option for installing multiple adapters.

    1. BOARD

       Valid board number are : 1 - 4

This option is used to specify which board to initialize
if there are multiple boards installed in the system.
If the board number is not specified, the driver will detect
all the I/O ports of the boards for user to select.

You may specify the board number you require when loading the
       server driver, for example:

	   : LOAD RLPNPA BOARD=1
